Venezuelan soccer star Miguel Rodriguez made a strong impression in his Canadian Premier League debut on Saturday, scoring a goal for Caracas FC in their match against Forge FC.
The 22-year-old forward joined Caracas FC from Deportivo La Guaira on loan in the off-season and has quickly become a key player for the Venezuelan club.
Rodriguez's goal came in the 35th minute of the match, when he received a pass from teammate Luis Gonzalez and fired a low shot past Forge FC goalkeeper Triston Henry.
